Borneo is the 3rd largest island in the world and one of the lungs of the world, home to the only great ape of asia. The orangutan.
Orangutan it means “person of the forest” , share 97% of human DNA.
Bearing only one baby every 7 to 8 years it is the slowest reproduction rate of any mammal on earth make the orangutan extremely vulnerable to human encroachment. There are 4 great apes, only one lives in asia and The origins begin in Africa.

Today they only live on two island, Borneo and Sumatra.
100 years ago hundreds of thousands of orangutans still inhabited these forest but in the past few decades we have destroyed their homes in the name of development and now orangutans in the edge of extinction. in the first round of hennessy my way i got the movements inspired by Hennessy in 1875 when helping & restoring wine growers jump start their activity again after a virus affecting vines called phylloxera.And also in the winter 1897 when James Hennessy donated over 30.000 vines to wine growers of the Grande Champagne region.Me with hennessymyway and Hermosa also came up with the charity project, 1 cocktail 1 tree. Until now, in the end of august we have been sold an otan & hennessy cocktail more than a hundred glass, and more than hundreds trees have been planted in Kalimantan forest.

The action is to continuing the program from the first round cocktail Otan & Hennessy, which in every purchase of the cocktail will be donated IDR 50k to the non profit organization Borneo Orangutan Survivor, to preserve the orangutan.

And in these second round I’m explain what that we do with the IDR 50k, the money will convert to a planting of trees in Kalimantan forest with the name of each guest who purchased the cocktail. So there is another value beside enjoying the Hennessy cocktail but also the guest will got the social value.
The purpose is for the reforestation to the orangutan as their home also to preserve the forest of Kalimantan.

FROM THE INGREDIENTS,
Using the waste material in bar and kitchen also utilize every part of ingredient.
such as pineapple fruit for making juice, the skin to make an oleo and the pulp is for garnish.

super lime juice, using the waste of lime skin to utilize became a lime juice.

using a waste of avocado pit and frozen in the freezer to serve and replace an ice block.

and serving with Terrarium in Hennessy 3Liter Bottle, it is described as a Hennessy not just only making a competition but also giving the Legacy to the continuity of Orangutan and Kalimantan Forest.
